ABOUT ALEX M. LU
Alex M. Lu, L. Ac is a fourth-generation traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. Following in the footsteps of her father, Weidong Lu, Alex was exposed to the benefits of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine from a young age. She received her BA in anthropology from Mount Holyoke College and graduated in 2023 with a Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS University, and in 2024, she joined Lu Acupuncture PLLC as a licensed acupuncturist.
Alex employs a holistic and evidence-based approach to acupuncture and pain management and strongly believes in a multidisciplinary perspective in healthcare. She is passionate about promoting acupuncture for underrepresented groups and treating the whole person, not simply the symptoms.
When not in the clinic, Alex enjoys spending time with her wife and naughty cat, traveling, and exploring the local restaurant scene.
